After a complimentary consultation, each project begins with a base fee of $249, which covers the essentials: assessment, sorting, and delivery of your organized photos.
From there, pricing varies depending on the size and complexity of your collection, as well as any custom options you choose, such as adding descriptive details or rehousing physical items into archival-quality sleeves and boxes.

Photo organizing is all about bringing clarity and calm to your photo collection. It involves consolidating all of your visual memories (in shoeboxes, old albums, scattered across digital devices, etc.) and turning them into a meaningful, easy-to-navigate archive.
Established by Cathi Nelson in 2009, photo organizing—and all that comes with it—is a relatively new industry. Cathi is the CEO and Founder of The Photo Managers, a member-based organization based in the United States, which previously operated under the name APPO (the Association of Professional Photo Organizers).

Absolutely! We handle printed photos, slides, negatives, albums, and scrapbooks, as well as digital collections stored on external hard drives, USB keys, SD cards, and Cloud services.

Yes! You may choose one or any number of our services to help you reach your photo project’s goal. You may wish to organize your print photos yourself before handing them over to me for digitization, for example.

If you live within 100 km of Fredericton, I can come and collect your photos. Otherwise, we can meet somewhere or you can mail me your materials. We will iron out the details once we decide to tackle your project.

It depends on the size of your collection and what services you choose, but projects can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months. After our consultation, I’ll provide you with an estimated timeline, and I’ll check in with you throughout the duration of your project.

How It Works

We’ll begin with a complimentary 15–30 minute consultation (by phone or video) to understand the scope of your project and your goals as they relate to your photo collection.

Once you’ve gathered your photos, I’ll securely receive them and assess the collection to build you a personalized project plan.

I’ll remove duplicates and organize your print and digital photos by date, event, or theme, and add searchable information (like names, dates, and places).

Depending on your goal, I’ll digitize prints, and can enhance or restore your images. Physical prints can be rehoused in archival sleeves or albums, and digital photographs are backed up.

Once your project is complete, I’ll deliver your collection in a format that suits you. Your photos will be easy to access and ready for any creative projects that may be next.
